They saw little of one another for the rest of the week, though Chloe made a scoop, patched in live from the light aircraft terminal where an air traffic control officer was talking down a single engine Cessna. The pilot, a sixty-year-old grazier had suffered what his wife considered to be a heart attack and it was she who, with no actual experience save half a lifetime of flying with her husband, had to land the plane. It was a harrowing experience for all, Chloe feeding information to her channel, while everyone prayed for a miracle.

In the end the woman who had responded with the utmost courage managed to bring the plane down safely, after many terrifying kangaroo hops, to the resounding cheers of everyone at the airport.
